Katherine Small Wagner is an Associate Professor of Information Systems Technology in the ISBPS (Information Systems Business and Public Safety Division) at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College.
Her primary teaching responsibilities include teaching a variety of topics within the Office 2003 suite as well as Windows. She teaches Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Currently, she is working on a project to train Henrico County employees in a variety of programs within Microsoft Office.
She teaches ITE 115, Introduction to Information Systems, to many students who are majoring in a variety of fields. This is a very interesting course, and students learn Windows, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. One highlight of the course in a presentation given by the students in PowerPoint. Topics range from vacation trips to the nursing profession and dialysis.
Also, she teaches for the Center for Professional Development. Some of the classes are taught at one of the college's locations to people representing many state agencies as well as other companies from the Richmond and surrounding areas. The Center works with other state agencies and companies in arranging computer seminars at the location of the business. Although a variety of courses are taught, Katherine teaches various computer courses, including Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
